Ewa Russell shines in the Magistrates' Court for Renshaw Derrick

Senior advocate and solicitor Ewa Russell is known for her thorough approach and effective advocacy in the Magistrates' Court. The following is a selection of her recent appearances, and outstanding results achieved for the clients of this firm:-

R v R - Ewa persuaded the court to make the Defendant the subject of a Conditional Discharge in a case of domestic violence assault by beating, for a Defendant with previous convictions for assault and a 2017 public order matter including the use of violence.

R v C - in a matter of theft of goods to the value of £7000,she persuaded the court to impose a stand alone Compensation Order and no other punishment.

R v S - Mrs.Russell successfully applied for bail in a domestic violence case of assault ABH, assault by beating, harassment and criminal damage, all for a Defendant with previous convictions for violence and recent convictions against the same Complainant.

R v B - in a case of domestic violence related harassment, Ewa secured an adjournment of the the first hearing with a view of a caution being considered as a disposal instead of a charge/conviction.
